Hot water, back the same day when we can.
A cold shower is not a mystery to solve for a week. Joe diagnoses what your water heater is doing, tells you whether repair or replacement actually makes sense, and gives you the price before any work starts.

"Joe Messina did an excellent job with the water heater install at my home. The install was fairly priced, and the install was completed with precision, in a just a couple of hours."

Repair or replace? The honest answer first.
Plenty of water heater problems are cheap fixes: a failed heating element, a bad thermocouple, a stuck valve. Some are not worth fixing, especially when a tank is past its first decade and rusting from the inside. Joe tells you which one you have. If a repair will buy you years, that's what he'll say. If you'd be putting money into a tank that's about to fail anyway, he'll say that too.
We install and service both tank and tankless units, gas and electric, and we handle the parts of the job people skip: proper venting, expansion tanks, drain pans, seismic strapping where it belongs, and hauling the old unit away.
Brands we install: A. O. Smith and Bradford White tanks, and A. O. Smith tankless.
What moves the price
Every house is different, so instead of a fake flat rate, here is what actually changes the number. You get the real price in writing before we start.

Our water in the Ozarks
Our water is hard, and hard water is what kills water heaters here. Minerals settle into the tank as sediment, the burner has to heat through the crust, and the tank pops and rumbles until something gives. If your unit has started making noise, read why your water heater pops and rumbles, then decide with real information. A flush every year buys time. A water treatment fix stops the problem at the source; that's covered in our hard water guide.
